That’s why we offer a Central Reading service for whole slide images of histopathology samples. Our service is specifically designed for the assessment of disease activity in conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), and Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) and may prove to be beneficial for other indications as research continues.
Our histopathology solution is an integrated biopsy sample management workflow and image management software that was built in partnership with international expert GI pathologists and leading imaging software developers. We provide a distinctive and competitive service for centralized histological assessment of disease activity, starting at tissue processing (through our preferred lab, AcelaBio) and digitization of slides. We utilize our proprietary image management software, Lucidity, which is 21 CFR11 compliant, ensuring slide images are fully auditable, protected, and reliable.
Once uploaded to Lucidity, images are securely encrypted, quality controlled and made available to our expert Central Readers who perform centralized assessment and enter their scoring data into a validated EDC system, allowing for expedited data sharing to meet our client’s needs.
